About the Role

Servers at Maddie’s are expected to provide exceptional customer service to guests, as well as guide the guest experience through engagement and education. 



  • Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.

  • Hold themselves accountable to the service standards outlined in training 

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.

  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.

  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement.

  • Attend all scheduled educational opportunities

  • Carry valid TIPS Certification in accordance with ISLD Liquor Laws

  • Work closely with other staff members to create a “team first” environment

  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times

  • Greet guests, receive food orders and ensure order accuracy

  • Buss Tables

  • Polish Glassware

  • Be on time for every shift

  • Run Guest food and beverage orders


  • Point-of-sale terminals, POS software, and workstations.
